I worked on the farm with my Dad for a year and one half. Went to work for Delker Bros. Mfg. Left Henderson in September 1963 and went to work for an Electric Cooperative in Georgia. While working in Georgia, I atended the University of Georgia and completed about two years. Left Georgia in 1970 and went to work for an Electric Cooperative in South Carolina as Manager, Office Services. Became General Manager of an Electric Cooperative in North Carolina in 1972. Manager Electric Cooperatives in Kentucky and South Carolina until I retired in 1997. Gloria and I have two sons, two daughters-in-law and two granddaughters. I now play golf two or three times a week and we like to travel.
