| I moved here with the Chrysler Plant, that moved from Evansville in 1959-60. The whole family was here. There were a lot of the County High families that moved here. I have made many trips back HOME and I still call Corydon home even after all these years. I still have family in Kentucky and I still go back two or three time a year. Back to me. I am a wife of Gary for 46+ years, mother of two, one girl and one boy, Grandmother of four, two girls and two boys and Great Grandmother of two, a girl and a boy and half, unknown. I have been a working Mother. I worked in accounting for others and then for myself. I did seven sets of books for this one person and when she passed away in 1989, she left me in her Will to her daughter. I worked for the daughter untill she passed away in 1999. Within a week I lost my Dad so I retired. My husband retired in 2001. Life is too short to waste it working. I go to the Fellowship First Baptist Church in High Ridge. I have been working in the Nursery for 42 years. I guess I had a hard time growing up but no trouble getting older. I just love working with the two year old now. The only thing, I am on the second generation now and hope I can be there for the third. I still love Vacation Bible School. Even if it takes me a week or two to get over it. I am getting ready for a trip back to Jamaica. The now picture that I am sending in was made there last year. One more thing, "Thank You Tommy" for this web site. |
