Rev. Joseph C. "Joe" Hatfield, 60, Henderson, died at 4:15 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, at Methodist Hospital.
He was a Pentecostal minister for many years and was a SMI affiliated song writer.
He was preceded in death by a son, Bradley S. Hatfield, who died in 1994.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Veronica L. Hatfield; one daughter, Misti Skaggs of Henderson; four sisters; Ruth Nobles and Iris Hopson, both of Henderson, Frieda Burchfield of Apopka, Fla., and Ramona A. Stratford of Stevensville, Mich; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Haven Penecostal Church. The Revs. Willard Clement and Vernon Rigsby will officiate. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Madisonville.
