I would like to begin by 'THANKING' the reunion committee for organizing and making our 50th reunion celebration possible. You ALL have done a great job, being so dedicated with planning and organizing our reunions for the past 50 years! YOU ARE SO AWESOME!

I was born March 12, 1940, in Geneva KY. I went to the same one room grade school with Carl 'Donnie' Amiet for grades 1 through 3, then 4 through 8 at the new Smith Mills grade school. I, too, accepted Jesus Christ as my savior at the little country Methodist church in Geneva when I was 7 years old.

Entering the HUGE and beautiful HCHS in 1954 was a great event for this 14 year old. I have so many fond memories of meeting new friends, traveling with our great football and basketball players, helping to cheer the team to victory (not mentioning the losses). Another wonderful highlight was when our chorus group went to Lexington with Ms. Walker to participate in the 'All Kentucky State Chorus' in 1956. I think of each of you often and thank all of you for helping make those young years such a fun time. By the way, Beth, I was summons to 'Doc' Johnsons office a few times too!

Right after graduation, on Memorial Day, I flew to Southern California to marry my 'City High' sweetheart, Doug Redding, on June 4, 1958. We lived in Riverside for 4 years, then moved to Chatsworth. Within 6 years, God blessed us with 3 beautiful and healthy children; Barry, Darryl, and Cheryl. Sadly, our marriage was dissolved in 1968.

In 1970, I married my present husband of 38 years, Mike Dalgleish. Our son, Chad, was born in 1973, which completed our family of 7 children-5 boys, 2 girls. We now have 15 GRANDS, 5 of which were inherited, and Chad hasn't even started yet!

We have lived in Agoura Hills for 36 years, which is located 50 miles north of Los Angeles in the beautiful Santa Monica mountains, 10 miles inland from Malibu and the coast. Most of our family lives close by, except for Barry in San Jose and Mikes son, David, in Arizona. We are very family-oriented and enjoy many family events and holidays together. My greatest sadness is when my son, Darryl, 39, died in 2001. His wife, Lisa, and their beautiful daughter, Kelli, along with Mike and the rest of our children and GRANDS, and my faith, have been my salvation. They all light up my life, giving me so much joy and happiness.

While raising my children, I was a stay-at-home mom, always involved in church, scouts, and community activities. I attended night classes at our junior college and at age 50, went to business college and computer school. Finally, at 38, I decided to enter the working class, part time, at Sears Credit Central. Was there 13 years, till they re-located to another city. I decided to work full-time for Redkin Laboratories and was there 2 years till THEY re-located to NY and KY. I have now been with Health Net of California for 13 years. I love working and my job, therefore, not ready to retire just yet. Mike retired in 2004 from Xerox Corporation and spends most of his time on the golf-course. We both are very adventurous, love to camp, and have traveled throughout most every state in our beautiful and awesome country. We are looking forward to traveling in Europe when I do retire, as long as we can walk and talk!

Thank you, Tom, for putting this web-site together. I have really enjoyed reading the stories from everybody and hope you receive more. Also, thank you for having the patience with me while trying to compose (condensed 3 times) my bio. Life is not any more different in California than in Poole; just faster, sunnier, shakier, and full of activity! I still think your version of my life was better! I'm really looking forward to seeing 'yawl' in June. ;-) Love and God Bless, Pat
