The 40 Year Reunion
THIS IS (part of) THE CLASS OF 1958 as we appeared in 1998, a little older, somewhat worn, but a lot wiser.
Some of us married our high school sweethearts, some went on to college, and some went into the military.
A large number of us got together in 1998 for our 40th year reunion. We strolled down memory lane and
remembered the sweet innocence of our youth. We tried to sing our old school song, "County High All Hail to Thee",
and actually got about half-way through when the reality of our ages began to manifest and one by one silenced our singing.
Laughter replaced the final stanza, because inside we're still the little kids we were back in the fifties.
A special spirit emerged when we all got together again as "The Class of 1958". We became young again, at least
for the weekend.
